I'm hooked back on thrift videos and wanting to go find the stores ive not been too , but today I have a cake order to get started so I must pull myself away for right now. I make wreaths and cakes ,,,I have made since the 90's. But I slowed down on cakes and I like making wreaths. I do all that in spare time mostly weekends , I'm at work the rest of the week. Maybe you have “Stuff Stores” down there, we have “Stuff” stores but also “Habitat forHumanity Restore”. The later has furniture and some have housewares. I LOVE going thrifting with you.

I thought the dishes with the pale yellow roses were so lovely....then when you came across the either soup bowls, or plates, that were a pale yellow or buttery color, were such lovely matches...Really loved the plates especially...Can't wait until all the virus is over, so that I can get back out thrifting....if only to browse...but even more, to be with my dear church family....

That was a very cool looking chicken the green and red one. I was at a antique store and found a mid century chicken it part of a set but there was only one I got it then went home and got on line and found the other mat it was a bit pricey but I had to have it.

Happy belated birthday!! Goodwill shopping is my choice for birthday fun, too! 🎉(AND Dirt Cheap-you are so lucky! I don’t live anywhere near one anymore but always try to get there when back visiting family. ) A few years ago on my birthday I was given a surprise🤩-when my husband and two daughters went with me to our Goodwill (!!!!) and then about 8 friends from church popped up in the store! Wearing feather boas! 🤪We all shopped for a few minutes then went across the parking lot to a Thai food restaurant! So nice! But of course after our meal I had to go back in Goodwill and really get to browse for awhile without a time constraint-another real gift I say!! Thanks for posting the video and I’m subscribing since I think we’d be friends thrifting and crafting together 😊 and I’m praying for the upcoming surgery to be better than you could ask or imagine 😇

I don't go to Goodwill anymore since they are no longer a non-profit organization and does not help the community any longer. I go to Salvation Army as well as donate to them.

@@hwy138 Your opinion has been noted. The fact that they are no longer a non-profit was published in the papers. All the money does go into his pockets, not into the community. All documented. Salvation Army HERE is the best. They keep none of the money. It goes back to the people, to the community. That too has been documented. Guess I do know what I'm talking about after all.
