Once, a mama and her two cubs in the Shenandoah national Park. It was so close... could have spit a watermelon seat at them. I was scared. The standoff lasted too long and Mama Bear walked on with her two cubs.

Hi Chris and Katrina! It’s ok not to film seeing family. I respect yours theirs privacy. As long as you had fun after not seeing them for 30 years. My mom and her 2 second cousin didn’t see each other for 50 years before he came to her 80 birthday. But nit to change the subject but the river was nice and the water falls. I love waterfalls. I love the sound of rivers flowing. It’s peaceful. I used to have an alarm that woke up to that. I also played to sleep. How cute seeing a bear playing in the water. And a raven seeing a raven. Beautiful scenery. Never been to that part of Canada. Other parts. Toronto and Ontario and another part but can’t remember. It’s a beautiful country. Thank you for taking me along on the journey. Have a great weekend and see you soon! Have a great week too! Safe travels.

born and raised in Calgary, I’m so embarrassed that there are bus loads of tourists to Banff National Park and area. Shame on these companies that are ruining the landscape and charging unreasonable pricing. Happy you got to enjoy the landscape we travel several times a month! We are seasonal at Hoodoo Mountain. there are two systems of parks in Canada. provincial and federal. the funding for each park system comes from Canada or the province that the park is in. when you get out of Banff and past jasper and heading north. the parks that you might stay in will be provincial run parks. unless they are owned by a private citizen. Banff is Canada's 1st park and was the start to Canada's national park system and provincial parks
