Ya that's nuts. The flowers are nice, but those crowds are insane.

No wonder so many people are sitting in these top seats. If I could, I would go and look there too 🤩💛 Simply incredible, these beautiful cherry blossoms! Thank you for these great impressions 👍 Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭

Was at Chuerito Pagoda today at Mt Fuji. Sakura trees were full bloom and it was snowing Sakura by noon. Probably the best Sakura spot that I’ve visited this year. Also I was lucky enough to be on the observation deck when Fuji was clear of any clouds. R.I.P. to all those who waited in line only to come up with a half covered Fuji earlier today.

I wasn't so lucky when I was there in early April, Fuji was completely covered in clouds from Chuerito Pagoda, only when leaving on the bus in late afternoon was Mt. Fuji finally visable.

@@peterbrasil4072 this year has been brutal for pictures in sunny days. Too many cloudy days. Lucky for me I was able to stay for 2 nights in kawaguchiko, but extended an extra two nights because of weather (mostly due to cloudy days). I was able to get 2 1/2x sunny days out of 5 for pictures and videos. Hopefully you get a chance again in the future.
the Season of Cherry Blossom is the Time of Dreams , the fall of the Cherry Blossom Petals , is as the fall of the tears of the Dreamcatcher " , catch the petal , catch the tear , catch the Dream and make a wish 🌸

What camera did you use for the Roppongi/Ark Hills? It is sooo clear.
Last Sunday I turned up at Shinjuku Gyoen Park, only to be told it was full and I couldn't enter! I went again on Monday and there was no problem. The park is huge so I can only imagine the numbet of people who went on the Sunday.

How was it on Monday? Maybe not as crowded but still many people? I mean I would love to see sakura but I don't really like crowds 🥲

@@lostbear1600 Monday was fine, although there were a lot of tour groups.

For some reason, there are a lot of harsh comments about large crowd. As a Japanese person who values quietness, I can sympathize with this to some extent, but I also think it's just jealousy. Why are there so many people (foreigners) here? The answer is simple. It's a very beautiful and charming place, cause they definitely wanted to visit it. If you make critical comments without being there and experiencing it, you will definitely regret it.

Watching from USA,mind sharing which brand and camera you are using.
Sensacional! E o cidadão não paga nada pra ir nesses eventos? É só chegar e entrar? Cara, isso sim que um bom uso do imposto. Que show de luzes maravilhoso!
This is not a “Japan” problem, but an “urban” problem. There are almost no people in the mountains, which make up 70% of Japan's land area.

It's a big event, so the crowding is unusual. Do those not exist where you're from?
@AP-hn8wd7 ай бұрын
@ tubetop That’s the problem with *Tokyo. Overcrowded. Fixed that for you. Japan itself is not overcrowded except for a small portion of the country, mainly the top 4-5 major cities.

these ppl have no idea what miserable life they are actually living. going cherry blossom watching with thousands of others in the way, everything is light up artificially, the light pollution is so bad, you cant even see a dark night sky. like ants on an ant hill. mega cities were a mistake. tokyo is mega depressing. kilometers of concrete.
