Thanks. They mainly used 6-8oz and 7-9oz rods.

Have you switched over to Daiwa Saltiga? And if so, do you pefer then over the stella?

I see that a lot of the guys are switching over to Saltiga’s and Certate’s. Superior drag and less hassles.

Yes I did switch over. I had issues with the stella drags all the time. Its great when it works bit you never know when it will fail you. Then finding parts for Shimanos in South Africa is a hassle. I have only fished the Saltigas and Certates for two months now and I absolutely live them. The drags are incredible! And they are very solid reels. I have fished shimano’s all my life and it wasn’t an easy decision bit enough is enough now and this far I am really happy that I made the change
