Since you guys loved our first Filipino Breakfast video so much (Three Filipino Breakfast Favorites) we decided to give it another try. In today's Vlog we got to try the most delicious Champorado (rice pudding), Tsokolate (hot chocolate) and Tuyo (dried fish). And we think we definitely should eat that more often ;p) PS: Nelly uploaded her FIRS VIDEO on KZbin - don't forget to subscribe to her channel: kzbin.info

Alfonso Chocolate Tablea is still in the market but limited only. Base in my experience, most of the quality of chocolate tablea was cut down due to the price hike of the ingredients. Before medyo matagal sya matunaw, ngayon ambilis nyang madurog, so it means the ingredients is not 100% pure. And the size is quite smaller unlike before.

Paired either with fried rice and egg.. or champorado... but as a kid growing up we eat champorado and tuyo as an afternoon snack prepared by our Mom right after we came home from school and all my siblings and I would just sit around the couch and watch all our afternoon cartoon favorites in our local TV.. Voltes V and Transformers cartoon version not the 3D version we have now!.🥰✌❤ i really enjoy that you guys showcasing this filipino foods because it is part of every filipino child who grew up here in the Philippines who are not that much influenced by western cultures! 😁✌❤🤗🤗 every time you showcase foods like this it is really a good feeling to watch!!❤❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗love you both😌😌🤗🤗❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰

Nothing beats the best combo, dried fish with Garlic fried rice and a cup of pure hot chocolate on the side. If you add in a saucer of vinegar and minced onions as a sauce for your dried fish, you'll be in heaven. My grandma cooks it for breakfast once a week before sending me to school. When I was younger, we were poor and we didn't have gas stoves. She had to use firewood each and every time she cooks, so cooking was really a struggle. I even made it a habit to pick up firewood while going back home from school to help her out. Even though my grandma was really old she still manages to dry the fish herself and makes tablea from the cocoa tree near our house so I'd say she's a pretty cool grandma. She was a jolly and patient old lady, this is how I will always remember her. This is my one and only favorite breakfast and having this breakfast reminds me of her. I will pass this on to my grandchildren as well, and I know they'll remember me like how I remember my lola.

Watching here in Long Beach, California. I was raised in Manila with four other siblings, eating champorado with dried fish-Tuyo. We love it. Arroz caldo is always one of our comfort food as well. Wow that was fun watching you two eat the Champorado and pancake, then eat the spicy fish with rice. That “Chocolatte” is a classic Spanish breakfast drink, that my Mom served on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. I will definitely have breakfast in that restaurant when I come visit Manila.

Hello Nelly and Mike. Seeing you eating these authentic Filipino breakfast make me really wanna go back home. I miss my Dad making garlic rice and beef tapa and grilled fresh fish. You are so genuine in describing your taste/palette. Malunggay is what western people call moringga or moringa. It is a super nutritious vegetable. Japanese is importing a lot of it fr the Philippines. Powdered malunggay can be made into tea. The champorado really looks delicious same with the tuyo and pancake. Love you guys.

Filipinos love champorado so much!!!! Tuyo is a good combination with champorado, but you can eat it with or without tuyo, champorado with ripe mango is also good.

I did not actually notice I was smiling the whole time watching this vid. What's so hilarious was that my salivary gland almost feed my mouth. 😄
