GTA IV is an amazing game but there is no way in hell it’s “underrated.” People never shut up about how much better it is than every other game in the series, especially V. I would even argue it’s a bit overrated, but it’s still really good.
@themuffinman7752 жыл бұрын
@@Extra47 in reality people say that its the best because of the nostalgia factor, obviously, but they dont know anything about the game. i saw one guy basically say "GTAIV is the best! I never played it, but its the best!" The game has been slowly getting a lot of attention, and the next possible phase is the game becoming mainstream. i think that phase might be happening right now. that is when it will become truly overrated. i fell in love with this game back in 2010 when i first played it and Ive been saying that it was THE most fun GTA ever since, but people gave me shit for it and now look how the tables turned. cant help but chuckle. where was yall at in 2013?? smh I am just happy to see that other people are starting to see and say what i have been for YEARS

My favorite detail is during the mission "Call and collect" by Francis McReary. If you call the street thug when near him you will hear two versions of his voice. One delayed and low quality from the phone itself and a directional from himself Not even GTA 5 bothered with it even though there are plenty of moments when you are next to the person you call. In GTA 5 usually only the phone makes the sound.

I’ve been playing GTA IV a lot again recently, and one thing I’ve come to realize now that I’m older is that all vehicles have different specs to them. As in there’s different models for each car, like the dukes, the coquette, the banshee, even the emperor and other mid to low range vehicles have different specs such as engine power and weight difference. If you don’t believe me, just grab any single type of vehicle and wait for them to spawn everywhere, then take 3 or 4 of them each (use cheats to lose wanted level if needed) and use methods such as holding the hand brake and revving the engine. You’ll notice that some cars are lower revving and perform slower where as some vehicles are higher revving and accelerate faster than other versions of themselves. It’s pretty sweet, I was drifting an orange dukes around a 4 light traffic stop after I found a powerful engine version of it lol
