Actually he hasn’t, he’s just been winning a lot of offers in the den, however after the show (at a later date) all parties sit down together with their book keepers & legal advisors to discuss the business in further detail, as well as the dragon(s) & entrepreneur(s) wants/ideas of what path the business should take, as well as to determine if all parties involved feel the offer is still beneficial to them, either party is allowed to drop out of the deal in that moment, none of that is shown on the show, only about 50% of the offers accepted in the den actually go through after that sit down to discuss the finer details of the business, that sit down is also where contracts would be signed if both parties still agree to go through with the deal at hand.

Either that or they got margin squeezed to oblivion on the retail side the multi billion pound supermarkets have a long track record of squeezing SME suppliers margins to the point of leaving them barely surviving. The big supermarkets gotta make those billions somehow and splitting the profits more equitably with their suppliers that don't have close to their weight in leverage (Brand value >£1bn at least) would impact on their retained profit.

It's very easy. Advertising, costs, and margins are squeezed tighter than a sumos ass in one of those nappy things they wear. Some companies can turn this over and make a loss, it's more common than you think, and can understand.

I cannot lie, I quite like this woman pitching, however, bright red hair and talking/acting that way in front of investors?! Absolutely not. She is also a liability... how on earth did the premises burn down?! This wasn't her home as I understand it so why is there a tumble dryer?! Not having insurance and not seeking retailers to stock your product is massive red hair for me, I mean flags, red flags. If you can travel to be on TV and jump through all the hoops, you can do the same to get your product stocked. Not to mention bare minimum of selling through ecommerce. I was absolutely shocked that she negotiated which was awesome - until the desperate "please" - but actually on reflection, if the deal went through I think she will build her confidence and be able to improve herself in business. I wish her all the best! In 10 years time I think she will be miles apart from that performance. nice dog too
