Those China carbs are hit or miss I have lucked out and and got OEM to the tool and worked great but sometimes they do not run as good and sometimes run better and sometimes I just buy them for parts to repair a carburetor !

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! 😂 So were you saying that the leaked fuel caused by the stiff diaphragm was sucked upwards from the tank due to sitting in the sun? I was thinking faulty tank vent or machine left on its side.

Yup, it's caused by that entering diaphragm 9 times out of 10. The vent would be the 1 time out of 10. The vent is designed to allow air into the tank to replace the fuel being used while the machine is running. Generally the symptoms of a faulty vent are the machine will run 5-10 minutes and then shut off. The reason being that the suction in the tank is greater than the ability of the pulse in the carb. The Tricky thing is when the engine stops or you open the gas cap the pressure/suction normalizes and the problem begins all over again. Kinda crazy.

I had gas come out, but never that much. It only needed a metering diaghram? Count on your videos to learn something.

It's got gas in it for overnight hopefully we solved the problem.
