I have been binge watching your videos and just love how you teach. You have a great voice to listen to for long periods. I'm now to the stage where I'm not all thumbs, but I'm not necessarily good either. But I am having a blast and have made two peyote stitch rings that look like the Tiffany mesh rings and a sparkly square stitch bracelet. Am getting ready to attempt right angle weave and I know I'm going to be cussing. Anyway - thank you for the great videos and your designs are on point! The sparklier the better!

G'Day My Wonderful Friend, Very chic and dressy and shines with true Stephanie class. The use of crystal seed beads and making four units of the main unit and four or three ( to work in with your wrist measurements) made with blocks of four pearls and a clasp would be a great version of your design. Loved the walk down memory lane about your wedding and it brought back memories of my big day too. I was a "baby" bride and have been married now for 46 years come this 31st of January. Just listening to my wonderful little man lying in his recliner snoring his head off just seems to make the moment even better. Did you look up about the Peyote stitch .. I left the details on your last video... hope you did. I found it a knock out.. aren't some people clever in the way they work out simple things to make us fellow beaders life much easier.!!! I have start my piece of bead Embroidery by making a few components. I am still attempting to master the diagonal weave or netting but became a little frustrated with it so I have put it a side for now. If I can manage it I will send you some pictures of what I have done so far. I would like some thoughts on how I am progressing my wonder "Master". I haven't asked how Bernie is and what he is up to..... is he still suffering from the "after glow of the great feasting season" may be if he has put a few pounds he could join a few of your yoga classes!!!!!! And how is Andrew, I hope he is spending his days snuggling and sleeping by the fire..... I see that the big freeze has truly set in for you Northern folk. Sam has now moved from the recliner to the kitchen and has nearly got tea (dinner I think you call it) ready so from a lovely warm and sunny Down Under.... kisses for all and keep warm my little polar bear.....Blessings XXOOX

Hi Chris my Down Under Wonder😍 Thank you for the kind words and ideas for this bracelet! So many possibilities so little time😃😆😄 I too enjoyed my impromptu walk down memory lane!!! I often look at my hubs and think of how lucky I am and have been for 30+ years! It's kind of nice growing older with someone for half you life 💜💖💐 Like comfort in a well broken in shoe haha lol! I hope he sees this a a compliment😃 I did watch the peyote stitch tutorial and for beginners it us a very good way to learn! Would work well for the Russian Leaf💕 I have used thus technique before and it does make it easy to learn if you need help with peyote! I say anything to make it easier is ok by me😃 I am inspired by your bead embroidery and plan to Spode some using Ann Benson's tutorials! A viewer sent me some lovely beads that would work very well for bead embroidery! I can't wait to get started! Have a lovely day in sunny and warm Australia! We are expecting a snow storm☃☃☃☃

Hi Stephanie,well i think you are the first one who mix stretch magic & fireline and i love this cool idea but you're right i wouldn't use Stretch Magic it's cheap and brake very fast,anyway i love your Design and i would make 3 rows because when you try on your wrist the two wow! i love the look so much so for me definitely 3 rows LOL! Congrats for your 34 or so wedding anniversary Ge! time goes fast you look so young i never tought you wear engage since 30 years and more it's Fantastic Stephanie! I have been binge watching your tutorials the last few days. You are an awesome teacher! Love your designs. Do you have a recommendation for seed beads in a cooler color tone? I like the 457 color, but I would also like more silver toned beads as well . Maybe a pewter or antiqued silver. Have you ever had a problem with the finish coming off the metallic beads? In the past some of my metallic finishes have rubbed off over time, which is a bummer! Keep up the good work! Thank you for your videos.

+Mimi Lawrence Thank you Mimi 😃🌻 Take a break, I don't want you to get tired of me lol 😂😜!!! Try Miyuki Nickel Silver #190 or Antique Silver (I don't have the number on that one) Also, Pewter, and my fav Palladium plated (outrageously expensive) I use the Miyuki Nickel Silver for most of my silver beading. It is a cool Silver. I love it. I use mainly the Nickel Silver and Metallic Bronze. So far no issues with rubbing off.

Can you advise if a 8mm pearl is workable for the component?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry 8 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Carole😀 You are very kind💖 I'm glad you are enjoying the tutorials! I so enjoy sharing them with you💜 I think you could try 8mm pearls if you use a larger sized montee and adjusted your bead count to fit around the larger pearls. You could go up to size 11/0 seed beads instead of 15/0's. Give it a try and I think I will too as it would be very pretty as a larger unit☀️☀️☀️Post on fb if you like. I'm glad you found my channel Carole! Welcome😀

Hi guys - I'm halfway through an 8mm choker for a bridal set and yes it works beautifully with some minor adjustments :) However, I think for a bracelet it's neater in the smaller sizes. I'll pop a pic up on FB when I get the set finished. And just thinking that making the set in 3 different bead sizes might work well (8s for choker, 6s for bracelet & 4s for earrings). Thanks SO much for such an easy tutorial.

I made this beautiful bracelet but the stretch magic thread just didn't work. Finally got the stretch cord through the bicones, tied off my threads and glued. The first time I put on the bracelet the stretch cord broke and the beads fell off. I really like the idea but will now finish the bracelet with a clasp. Thank you for all your great videos. Next I'm going to try the Wrap It Up bracelet with superduos.

Phyllis Galouskin Hi Phyllis😃 I have a suggestion for a different thread called Nozue Sonoko for stretchy items. Stretch Magic clearly isn't reliable (my bracelet is fine but a couple of beaders bracelets have broken) I didn't know of this thread at the time. I'm glad you're going to clasp it😃💐🌻

+beccy griffiths Hi Becky! Thanks for the nice comment :) Maybe you need to use thicker elastic or even thinner if you are using a thick one. Its hard to get the diameter right for going through these beads or any beads. If the wide eye needle isn't working for you try the one I use in the tutorial. Its a 4inch beading needle that I have had forever but I think they are still around. Try your local craft store. I hope this helps :)

Help, my Gold Miyuki seed beads lose their color so fast. I made a ring less then a week ago. It was the twist ring. I made it black and gold. But now it looks silver and black. Hi Stephanie , I have been slowly gathering my supplies to make this wonderful piece you have created. I have one question, in the description box you have listed 15/0 metallic bronze, but in the video you say dark gold. I have purchased both and they look very different from one another. The metallic bronze looks more like the video, but it's always hard to tell with lighting and such. I would really appreciate you letting me know so I can get started. I going to attempt the bracelet and necklace. Thank you again for your fantastic videos. Robin

beautiful bracelet. got all the materials, did all the weaving but fo the life of me I couldn't get that stretch cord through the bicone!!! not the second time at least!!! how did you do it??? Will have to settle for a clasp but would have liked the stretchy one. love all your work. ciao

@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry 7 жыл бұрын
Leda Rizzo Hi Leda😃Thanks for your lovely comment! The stretch cord is a bit difficult! I'm sorry it isn't working. I think the clasp will last longer though. I was a little worried about the stretch cord breaking after a while. However, I have come across a thread that may work as a bangle for this bracelet. It's called Nozue Sonoko beading thread and it is great for bangles. You could try using it as the bracelet part. A little modification will be needed for a bangle. I will try it and let you know how it goes!

I love this idea, my grandson wants me to make him a bracelet but all of his are made with elastic. I have no idea how to use it. He' 21 and dances in at comic book conventions.

Hi Louise, if you are making a single strand of beads for your grandson then the knots are most important. Usually the package demonstrates how to tie knots🌷 I with you, I don't use stretch cord much so even this bracelet was a bit of an experiment😁😄😃

Hi Pricilla :) Sorry for the delay in replying! Yes you can substitute a 3mm or 4mm bicone crystal for the montee.

I actually just tried but it didn't work for me as a bicone doesn't have the cross holes to make the same look, however I changed the design a bit and it still looks very pretty, not as pretty as the montee but still pretty! LOL

+Samantha Overall Hi Samantha! KZbin might be having a problem. Sometimes that happens. Try shutting down and restarting your computer. That might help. I just checked many of my tutorials and they are fine on my end. Maybe a computer setting on your end? Try the shutting down thing first :) Let me know how it goes!

I have tried making these 4 times and each time my thread breaks when I am almost done. Has this happened to anyone else? Not sure why.

Not sure why your thread is breaking Robin. Try using a thicker gauge thread or instead if using the stretch thread use all Fireline. Hope this helps!
