That was a beautiful day! You work so hard to bring this content to us. It looks amazing there, I loved that food before you left the other town! You have already shared that air and ground travel are higher than u expected them to be. The hotel where u are staying is basically empty like many are around the world. To stay open, one can expect its owners to charge renters more for rooms. No surprises here.

This your journey is same with my in Nigeria. I traveled by road and finally by water with same of boat to my community. The setting over there is also exactly like my region in Nigeria called the Niger Delta region.

I have heard about Afro-Mexicans before must say however that it is highly unlikely judging by their physical features and the history of Mexico that any of these melanated people are purely black. It is clear that they are much darker than the average Mexican who are Mestizo because they may have a larger portion of African ancestry but it's obvious that all of them mixed a lot with the indigenous populations in the area a lot of mixture there.
