No but she will have to pay for his items. It’s not criminally illegal because they resided together and property had not yet been divided. They also accrued items together over five years. A judge must determine if the items are even legally his first. He’d be better off just cutting his loses.

@@OriginCorey they couldn't get proof of her degree, I would presume that would be the case. As there are requirements to be met witha designation. Also, it's implied in her language to the court about only speaking accounting speak, more likely a bookkeeper. A CPA would be familiar with all of the legal jargon, and the details they were requiring would already be properly compiled monthly. I suspect it would have been more apparent in conversation and reporting her to the association would have been brought up. At minimum by her as a complaint. The lawyer would know about filing a complaint to the association.

Yes Mike please cover the Williams trial if it's available. It'll be a rough one for sure. The prelim in Judge Simpson's court was rough. But I think it's one that should be followed. I wonder if they'll drag his butt into court or if we'll get snoozecam at the trial. If I recall he has a history of refusing to leave his cell which may be the case this time so it'll be interesting to see if they set up the iPad in his cell for the trial or if they drag him in whether he likes it or not. Considering it's a trial for a murder that happened four decades ago I'd guess the latter. Glad he got the Blandino treatment. He can't represent himself if he won't even participate.

⁠@@kimmartin8760False. The lawyer can subpoena the University’s records. However, the subpoena needs to come from a Judge/court that is within that state of where the University is. Another state can not as it would be invalid. That doesn’t apply to federal cases. In federal criminal cases, there are no jurisdictional restrictions on compliance with the subpoena.
