Crazy Loud Montgomery Hydraulic Elevator - JCPenney, Coddingtown Center - Santa Rosa, CA

[Recorded 12-29-21] This thing is so cool! Even though it has been modernized, it was modded by the same company in the 90s, which is always nice to see. This was a former Montgomery with the white circle buttons and it got an older Innovation Universal slap-on. The motor is obviously replaced, but it's one of the loudest I've heard in a department store! It's crazy how loud it is. You could hear it from across the store. It sounds so nice though. What doesn't sound nice is that door operator lol. Cool elevator, and cool employee as well!

Wow that elevator has definitely seen better days but otherwise decent this reminds me of the former JCPenney’s at Cumberland Mall in Atlanta Georgia as kid, except the elevator had LL and UL, it’s now of course a Costco, but JCPenney’s is the only department store I know that uses that kind of flooring for the elevators. 🤔
