The puzzling work of Sassy. 😊 I've noticed (on my property and other places in my area) x's seem to be placed by points of interest. By the feeding spot. And at a vantage point to see straight into our home. Or even spots on the forest floor that have been dug. Although, the huge X's seem to be something different... In our area they are found by (what looks like to me) territory. The usual tangle of branches leaning and intertwined with bushes and trees. Probably done for hunting. Because I find these by deer trails. Btw, most of my study of these things are in my woods behind our home. Perfect for a controlled study of sorts.

Anke, I wonder if they put the "X" there as a protest. It looks like a tree or some trees have been cut down by people and where trees have been cut recently in some of my local areas I have always found some type of new sign that was left by the FF, right by the felled trees! Love, light and peace. (On to part 2...cool, thankyou X)

Maybe, but you can see some cut trees everywhere in this forest, never too many. But it was a very good marker for me to find the structures. Like last time ... I see something interesting from the trail to go in there to find crazy stuff. Thank you my friend!

I am thinking along the same lines as Glenn They perhaps are saying "You can go no further!!!" This seems like a sign to say " that area is yours but this area is OURS. Keep off it and don't cut down our trees! "

Hi Deb, good to hear you. The loggers don't understand these signs ... I think lol. There is also a hunter seat which looked quiet new. I don't have any good explanation, but as I told Glenn, it was a perfect sign for me to find the structures. I wouldn't have gone there otherwise. But it would be very arrogant to think it was for me lol. But I have to admit that I like that thought. Xx

Lunch time, dizzy feeling, Anke you were at work, work me me dizzy. LOL. You show the broken tree with 2 leaners, you follow where it points, and there is "X". I think the broken tree and leaners are the the markers and showing the directions for these beings to travel. The X in my opinion is like a private property sign for other beings to notice. My opinion...

You mean a FF private property? Lol. I still have a problem with these breaks being a marker because they are everywhere in any direction. First I thought the break would point to the X but it's a different direction. The only thing I know is that this break wasn't there in summer when I was walking along this trail.
