The stadium was built for football and baseball with movable stands. They didn’t work very well and when the Hawaii Islanders stopped playing they stop using it for baseball. It looks like it is safe but some engineering studies had some high repair estimates. It was closed in 2020 and is being developed into a smaller stadium, sports complex and entertainment area.

Just a friendly tip on your next visit to Oahu, swap meet Saturday has more vendors and most times you can find local vendors that make their own pieces! Also checking out the Local Pop Up Events are good to, their you will find local vendors who hand make their own products like my husband who is a wood carver! Most of us would give you better deals then these tourist attractions!

In public areas Coconut trees are trimmed to prevent them from falling on heads. The immature fruit and flowers are cut off. In people’s backyard watch you head. Coco palms usually rise from a curved base. Some varieties fruit when short and don’t grow too tall too fast.

When I lived in Honolulu in the late 80's, the Aloha Stadium flea market was much larger. Instead of just one row of sellers, there would be row after row after row of sellers covering the entire parking lot. We spent about 4 hours there and still didn't see everything.

You need to make close to 100k a year to be happy and not have to worry about money and with a family x2 eggs cost around $6 a dozen gas prices are out of control. Don't be afraid to sit In traffic for an hour to get into town. Not an easy place to live and by the way those people are getting their money to survive id be unhappy too

The palm trees you see are most likely coconuts but there isn't any coconut on them if the tree is on state property due to liability, years ago a coconut fell and killed a kid and since then they always trim the coconuts off the trees before they get big so that it doesn't happen again or they could get sued
@Solidified_111 ай бұрын
The coconut are from Hawaii but they are that price because most people from the state will buy it for 10-12 bux especially if they don’t have coconuts in their state if u comparing your prices to Thailand u cant because Hawaii in a state and facing inflation like the rest of America so it’s kinda hard to compare to Thailand or other countries
