Char Hung Sut was the favorite go to place for delicious dim sum. Was not aware it was close. Will miss it. The line was always long. We use to order for the office on Fridays. Great memories.😊

Aloha Misty! We filmed over 2 days and we had to strategically plan it. Like 3 places in the morning afternoon... go home then come back for 2 more late afternoon and night for 2 straight days. Been living on the East Coast for 10 years and I always miss Hawaii cuisine. So delicious!I. remember Royal Kitchen as a kid. It was my favorite dim sum take out! My mom would always order a plate lunch and dim sum. So yummy. Next time I visit my family I’m going there. I do remember in the 70s and 80s, the tables u were sitting on , it used to be a bunch of old men playing games every time we would go there. I get why your mom is loved. She is a local girl. Tells it like it is , with a sense of humor and all with love. God bless your family and fun food channel.

The hardest part has been finding a place while not being there to meet the owner / renters or see the place . I have just learned about work shares , and I’m open to doing that for a month or two before renting a place . I think most of those are on the big island / Maui. Do you know any good ones ?
