In the 1st story I’d have to disagree, the situation didn’t go to far when the charred stick was thrown at the house, it went to far before that. When all the puppies were killed & lined up outside of the child’s window, before the stick incident, is when sh*t officially went to far. How sad & scary her life must have been at that point

Juniper S About the time the dog attacked someone, I'd have been putting on my ghillie suit, with my shotty full of rock salt, and hid myself out there in the bushes to wait. No one would be scaring my children and harassing me in that way and they certainly wouldn't get an opportunity to hurt my animals. I've been a single mother before and scary or not, you've got a duty to protect your kids and animals, because they depend on you. I know it's not that easy for some folks but this is what can happen if you let it go. I'm not putting the OP's mom down, btw. The way I was raised is a little different than most people, because I was raised by a man that was MAC-V SOG. For those that don't know what that is, to put it plainly, he was special ops in Vietnam. So yeah, a little different than most.

Alpha Wolf I’m the same, well minus your dads training. I was raised if someone messes w/your kids or animals then you bring the world down on them. I’m a single mom too & if I couldn’t put the fear of God into whomever was doing it, then I’d have plenty of help to aid me in doing so.

Paula Brown yeah if the mom wasn’t going to do anything then she should have dropped the land dispute that the daughter believed it was tied to, sold the house & move. To continue putting your daughter through that, having animals die, while the mom basically does nothing is almost as bad as the people doing the stuff.
