I have never once seen a stolen vehicle escorted and driven by police. Especially by multiple units using blue lights. Usually it would be forensically recovered by a recovery agent. Not saying that isn’t what was happening, just very very odd and I think there is probably a lot more to the story

Yes I would love to find out the full story. What else could it be?

training

@@almilhouse9059 it most likely is training, but then they wouldn’t be using a stolen car. They’d be using a car owned by the force as a bandit car for training. Imagine if you had your car stolen, you hear it’s been recovered, and then it comes back absolutely ragged from the police training in it

Many police forces around the UK are going back to the Volvos now, since BMW announced that they were going to stop supplying British police forces. I have heard the stories about the N57 diesel engines going on fire, but I have also heard the bullshit stories about how the police forces have blamed the make. Funny how the same thing happened to Volvos when the people using them kept their engines running so long without switching them off (and thereby giving the engines the opportunity to cool). I have heard that many police officers who had used the BMW diesel cars would often sit in them with the engines idling for long periods of time without actually going anywhere! Not only is this practice bad for the environment, but it is contributing greatly to the engines overheating and then of course the damn things go on fire and the police officers being the type of person that they are are often arrogant and ignorant that their lazy behaviour is what helps contribute to the car eventually going on fire.

How come they didnt just use a flat bed to trasport the stolen/recovered car?
@iamadamowen2 жыл бұрын
It might not actually be stolen. Could be the driver was wanted and the car isn't part of any investigation?
