Another great tutorial! Loved that alg for placing the inner edges, good find. I think your video was gonna demonstrate some others but I took the first one and ran with it.

Thank-you… checking the video now to see if I am going to be able to solve it or not. I don’t dare at the moment :)

The circle corner pieces are equivalent to a megaminx edge. So, if you can identify them, you can solve the circle/outer corner pieces together just like a megaminx and save a lot of time.

First tip I've sent to you, instead of gotten from you lol. Try reducing the edges until it turns into an original Pyraminx Crystal. F turn, followed by a down down up up on the left and the right, then undo the F turn. You move the outside edge into the correct spot with the F turn, then swap in a new, unsolved edge with dduu. Uses a lot less brain and a lot less full turn setups because you can move the edges safely with the dduu. Once everybody is reduced you just solve it like a Pyraminx Crystal without the availability of setup moves.

I just solved mine last week! It's a really fun puzzle, but now I turned it into a true crazy puzzle by opening the mech and flipping the gray center into a 1 face! Now it's ridiculously difficult, and I am having a very hard time with it! 😵💫

Yes, that's because you've turned it into a mercury, which are definitely a harder type. I would actually change all centres except one into 1 faces (which will take some time!) and then you'll have a jupiter. Not only will it solve easier, I think, it will be much more fun. That's just my hunch. I might try it myself...

Actually, thinking about it more, I would leave two opposite centres as 0 faces and the rest 1 faces. That is the standard config for jupiter dodecahedron and it will make it easier to do the reduction.
