Absolutely I've had great action rattling from Halloween through mid December

I've been here for years but have never felt so inclined to speak up. Josh, I'm a big fan of your content. Keep up the good work. Also, that fella looks like if Sturgill Simpson, Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Foxworthy all ran the rut on that brunette from ToolTime.

I listened to an John Eberhart video 2 years ago and he described 'sparring' rattling. I thought I would try it on our sambar here in Australia. I nearly fell out the tree when 20 min after rattling 2 stags turned up and one was looking for a fight. I ended up shooting one with my compound after he busted me in the tree but couldn't figure out what I was. Has worked on some occasions since too.

I'm in West Central Wisconsin, and if it's anywhere from Oct 25 - Nov 10, you better believe in rattling, even rattling blind. I call in multiple bucks every year during this time period. Not always bucks I'm after, but there isn't always giants around on highly pressured public land. But yes, if you get away from people, where big bucks aren't used to every Tom, Dick, and Harry rattling, you can call em in regularly. I just called in a nice 2 year old on the hottest October day I've ever hunted, 82° on October 28 last week. He got a pass, but most hunters around here would've wet themselves over him.

I've only ever had rattling work on suburban deer that aren't pressured.

Hey Josh. Do you no how to get good low light settings on an action cam. I just killed a buck 15 minutes before dark and it looks like I shot it at midnight.
@beforetheechoАй бұрын
Haha no man action cams are not good for low light. Neither are camcorders. For good lowlight you have to invest in a mirrorless camera

@@rocksandracks get you a Samsung Galaxy s23 or newer they have really good low light cameras

I love the Grit series. I really wish Alex would clean up the language though. I like to watch this kind of content with my son.

I really prefer longer content and lots of explaining and teaching on hunts like Hunting Public and Hunting Beast. The Grit series is entertaining, but I consider it like fluff instead of real food. Just my opinion.

Yep I love it. I feel like the long form stuff gets too repetitive.

Man I I think I rattled one in… northern Michigan… on the 17th “ super moon” I hit the grunt tube the rattled the black rack, within 5 minutes a buck that made me excited enough to fling an arrow came into 17 yards. Dies that count
