your guy's sound design skills / abilities have really improved over the years I'm impressed! Nice work

I'm not making this style of music at all, but i find it incredibly useful to see how deep these guys go on their sounds. Even though i'm going for completely different sorts of sounds, the philosophy of deep dive sound design still applies.

Even if i do use FL i'm learning a great amount of knowledge of serum, plus the post processing techniques do transfer over just with different methods/plug-ins. Thanks you guys!

How does one even figure that sound design out
@SaltSpirits Жыл бұрын
experimentation. won’t learn anything if you don’t do it. so just do it
@rebirth4119 Жыл бұрын
Expanding upon @saltspirits , as you experiment with different effects and sound design techniques, you begin to build associations with how certain effects sound. In this way you begin recognize certain aspects of other people's sound design. An example would be an oldschool riddim bass. Its a simple waveform that is slightly detuned and has a moving phaser. So getting to know your effects well in experimenting helps.

What you guys think the VST, Skrillex might be using? Danny & Parker. I think MASSIVE.
@SaltSpirits Жыл бұрын
more than likely it’s just serum honestly
@absysics Жыл бұрын
@@SaltSpirits ofc it make sense cos' xlnt guys remake and sound design their stuff only on serum. but skrillex comes from an era when serum was not even introduced. so, i reckon he would be using FM8, Massive and Serum.
@innavision1920 Жыл бұрын
@@absysics yea forsure OG skrillex was mostly using fm8 and massive. I’d reckon the same today but with serum
