That first octave slide sounded like a synth, I had to rewind it a few times lol. Awesome sauce demo as usual!

Wow! That sounds amazing! Fender in a box. Incredible tone. I know I say this all the time, but I could listen to you play all day. So funky and original.

M'k ya your Falcon Video is the best. You actually know and understand the sound of the amps emulated and play to show them off just right!

Aah... that Saticoy ! And suddenly, at 2:22 Keith steps in :) very realistic. I still fight to get some kind of fluidity between major/minor pentatonics and all those 1/2 tones across the board you seem to be so at ease with. Thanks for your clips & demos: they're all very inspiring \m/

I was tempted to get the CTS Space Charged as I really like the idea of real tube OD. But, I ended up ordering the Falcon. I just LOVE the sweet singing treble. Great demos by Shawn, RJ, Jay L J, Mr Hermans, In The Blues, and Mr Thorn - everything from imparting a little Fender mojo all the way to a Fender on the verge of catching fire...

Two more on my list... Supro 1305 and J. Rockett Monkey Man. Thoughts anyone?

I guess the Falcon and the Monkey Man cover some of the same ground. Anyone compare them?

Hey Shawn. I like this one. Sounds nice and Fender-y, but with some serious hair. Giving a little taste of bypassed sound before turning on the pedal makes it easy to hear what the pedal is doing. Great playing as always. Cheers!✌

Love the video Shawn! I’ve been researching where to get one of these in the states with very little luck. Any good ideas or suggestions to help find one of these?
@ShawnTubbs5 жыл бұрын
I've only seen them on Reverb.com but I thought Distinctive Guitar had some.

Although it's an amp emulator pedal it sounds like it doesn't color too much... but maybe it's from my speakers.

OK good but no Cigar. It has a decent smooth tube sound, but no more than a TS808. The one thing not mentioned everywhere is that there is no 9V battery in this unit. It requires an external 9V 40ma power brick/cube with a +( - ) connector. So if you play 10-15 feet in front of your amp you need to find an extra outlet besides you amp and then run a long length of wire to power it. The pedal could be great, but that will be a sure show stopper for most. I paid 185.00 us for it and then returned it. For the money I will look for a TS808.

Robert Rand who still uses batteries???

Why did you return It? I have a good ts808hw and it cannot be compared to the Falcon ones. Totally different animals.

Nothing special here. Sounds like any amp without the pedal. What's the point in the pedals volume acting just like the amps? If I want the amp to distort, I dime the volume, same with the pedal?
@DP-hn6rl5 жыл бұрын
Bluz2jazz 1. Not all amps distort like a nice vintage Fender. 2. It’s nice to have a different flavor instead of running two amps. 3. The pedal allows you to effectively go “dine the volume” as you said without actually doing so or even taking one step away from where you are with just the push of a button.

I haven't try this pedal but I suspect that it gives you that early Fender crunch tone even if your amp is at low/bedroom volume.
