This is filmed in Europe dude. No Walleye. Zander is closely related. Remember the restaurant in St. Paul that got in trouble for selling zander filets as walleye?

@@davidwittesz yeah we haven’t called it a pikeperch since probably the early eighties here in the uk… there are even some fishermen that say there is no such thing as a pikeperch… they are zander… 🤷‍♂️

You have come a long way in explaining the behavior of the fish towards the floating bait... I hope to know the quick water options where the matter is completely different... The fish seem indifferent towards the baits that I use..... How can I benefit from his advice, my friends..

Shapes, weights, colours and flavours.... Shapes - cut your bait into different shapes. go for maybe a larger bait? or smaller bait?? Just something that is different and not the usual size. weights - use a lighter leader, dont use split shot or large weights - consider using tungsten putty but only a small enough amount for the most natural presentation possible. colours - if youre using hard baits try using different colours or mix colours up. flavours - you can try using different scented/flavoured baits or dips/attractants on your baits - it all depends what your fishing for and there will be an attractant for it. If you are dead baiting for predators, you get a syringe and inject some cod liver oil or fish oil into the dead bait before casting out. The more fish get caught, the more weary they will become and they will learn what sort of bait they keep getting caught on. Best thing you can do is try to stay ahead of the game. I cant really say anything more then that. I've been fishing since i was 8 or 10 years old and now im almost 40. Hopefully something will work for you.
