Thanks to you guys,I'm a fan of crepes. Last year,my friend & I went to a Japanese Cherry Blossom festival in Roosevelt Island in New York. It was so much fun. They were selling different kinds of onigiris,bentos,& crepes. My friend bought a crepe with strawberries & whipped cream. I bought a crepe with matcha whipped cream & azuki beans. One bite of the crepe & I got hooked. It was so delicious.

If you ever visit Vancouver, Canada... if you like crepe's, they have a mall in Richmond called Aberdeen Mall and they have a wonderful food court that has a place that sells Great Crepe's... my favorite is the Chocolate, Strawberry & custard crepe... it has whip cream and chocolate sauce on top... the brownie is big and the strawberries and whip cream are so fresh... It's Soooo Delicious and the place is called "MAZAZU CREPE"

Wow. This is crazy. My wife and I spent a week of our Tokyo trip in Shimokitazawa back in 2017 and we recognized Andrea as soon as you showed it. We remembered the outside of it, with the little TV showing cartoons. I'm not sure if it was actually open while we were there but we definitely didn't know it was a crepe stand.

I still want to try a savoury crepe once since I don't really eat the sweet ones. but I'm not going to try the natto one hahaha. I think I want to try one with wiener sausage and salade. This place looks nice. The area as well :) The second one looks amazing. Great find Ai :D I would definitely try the muscat one. And for @Erinuber the one with adzuki :) Eric always wants crepes when we are in Japan. At firts we went to takeshitadori for crepes but it's so crazy busy we are glad we found a small stall in a shotengai near Ooyama station.

Homemade kimchi is delicious. I had tried a Natto taco once in San Francisco and after the second bite, the natto made my stomach churn because of the sliminess. Never again will I eat natto.

Natto and kimchi, knowing only the American version of these, I cant see this in a crepe at all in my mind. I always wondered what the sweet red beans taste like since it's in almost every Japanese dessert dish.

@MountainRain yeah, I've been told by my Japanese friends that the mochi isnt at all the way they make it in Asia. I dont care much for mochi but I feel like if they didnt get that part right, how could they get the red bean part right. I think its gotta be completely different over there compared to what we get. In my own experience I'm Italian and when your in Italy the food is completely different, and they serve you like 7 courses in a meal. Everything is handmade and is different from what you get in a box here. That's all I'm saying thou, I would like to go to japan, as I absolutely love seafood, fish, shrimp, squid, octopus, clams, mussels etc. I'm currently living in Florida and the seafood places along the coast are awesome but I think Japanese cuisine culture is based in the sea.
