CRAZY URBAN MTB DOWNHILL TRACK - FULL RACE RUN!

Here's my full race run down the crazy urban MTB downhill track in Medellin, Colombia! I love these urban mountain bike races because it is so sick to race through the streets in front of all the screaming locals! The city of Medellin was amazing and I was so happy to have been invited there. After the race there was a best trick event on the lower jumps, this video will be out soon! I was racing on my HAIBIKE downhill, non ebike!

Everyime i watch these kinds of vids i just marvel at the sheer architecture. The fact that all these buildings on so many different levels have been put together in such a way that its even physically possible to create a whole line from top to bottom to ride down, blows my mind! Just started watching the downhill bike races on KZbin. It’s unbelievable & exhilarating just watching from my arm chair. I can almost feel the adrenaline rush,. Every rider is so brave & quick thinking. I’m assuming that the course has to be practiced as those turns are mad & I worry that someone leading or making good time may loose cos they take a wrong turn. The avalanche downhill races are awesome but this way up there. Thanks for sharing. I’m over 60 with arthritis & would love to be able to ride my bike like that! I’m now in my e bike stage💖🇬🇧

😂 i know this is a joke but I’ll explain anyways. He is on a DH bike which means 200ml of suspension of both ends.normal trail bikes have 130-150. DH bikes also have a low amount of gears so with the suspension slowing him down and being on a bad gear for Climbing and he also Won’t have a dropper so his seat will be extremely low so that’s why it’s the hardest

This is the route these locals take everyday.. noticed the escalator? Those were recently made by the city government. Recent, like in the last 10 years.
