the problem with all of those is fuel. once the main fuel is gone...good luck finding a place to refill this...and to do it in an efficient manner on your own if finding oneself trying to manage in a dangerous world.

The the fuel will be useless before it's gone. Even stored under the best of conditions fuel is only viable for about a year. If there is nobody manufacturing fuel...

You beat me to it. These boats are all great for escaping a localized disaster. None of them is usable as a long term home without a support infrastructure. And that support infrastructure requires a functioning and advanced modern civilization.

Heard Visby class Corvette is to cause accident by continuous movement to s.g and it lands anywhere, becoming free ship, wonder where it will accident at though, same for victa, same for swamp shark - v.c.c: rocket frontwards on impact, victa: unknown, s.s: maybe crocodiles right quite obvious?

I’m a fan of diamond plated aluminum boats around 20 feet. The ones we use here in cottage country Muskoka are designed to load small machines like bikes and atvs. After that it would be great to have a barge. You can move heavy machines, vehicles, large materials etc. if you wanna just survive in normal life never mind in an apocalypse you might want these two boats. Your not building anything without a barge and you’re not even getting to the cottage or a lake homestead without a decent strong boat.

Ok. The first ship, what kind of farming do you suppose can feed 10,000 people? There is not enough room to farm or have the tons of soil you would need. Then there is the need for fuel. Where do you aquire the couple hundred gallons required to power that monster for a month? The second ship runs of ammonia? I didnt know that was a thing, but that makes finding fuel post apocalypse even harder than the first.

That would be perfect,No police,no rules accept the laws of nature! Nobody to threaten your life! And a lifetime supply of food,firearms and unimaginable amounts of homes with solar power and wind turbines then you can recharge whichever electric car you fancy to roam around in, and just as long as you have a pack of dogs that can stay with you,then I’d say where are the negatives in this scenario? 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️😜👍🏼❗️

Will work great fo a while. You will still need a way to fuel them and also maintain them as the environment they are in will take a toll on them and systems will fail, rust, barnacles etc. May be a short term solution. But yes during that time a ship would make a great haven.

😂 The problem is, Fuel. If the grid goes down for a year and a half or 2 years, Where are you going to get fuel? You can't grow and farm enough food for 10,000 people on a ship that's packed full of butts! What are you going to do during storms? What are you going to do about sanitary conditions? Tanks only hold so much?! Just have them crap off the front of the ship like they did in the old days?

Well waste is easy but yeah just go off of the coast if it's possible and empty tanks, which is now yeah u can't but end of the world well. Now ur real issue I think is the fuel. Now also yeah u can make the spaces into growing things but u gotta get the seeds and supplies first. All depends on the situation.

@@xanderx51 It all depends on you not running on to the ground. An anchor will not hold you fast in face of a storm. Soil depletes with use. Without desalinators, freshwater is a scarce commodity on the sea! And living spaces. The ship Can't fit it all. It's not Noah's ark.

Most ships on the list are useless in an apocalypse event... They can carry, they have armor, but they don;t reserve enough resource to sus that much people or have ability to vanture out far enough from harms way... An empty mega cargo loaded with fuel and non-replush-able supplies, have the top deck convert to an open farm and inside decks convert to hypon farm, solar/wind generator stutt all around it, with solar freshwater maker and dew collectors fill the remianing open deck space, this might be able to sus a small group of survivers. Never underestimate resources needed to sus the life of a single human!
