You have bags under your eyes. You seem so tired, because of sleepless nights, because of the anxiety shifty strangers on the street bring you. But your eyes are bright with so much wonder, because of the beauty of what your experiencing. You are so brave. And this seems to be an amazing adventure. I am not saying that no one else does this when their eighteen. But personally, traveling alone terrifies me and I am the same age. And so seeing you do this gives me courage and hope that maybe someday I'll be able to do this, given I don't literally pass out from the tension it will give me on the first train ride.

I’m so happy for you being independent and free to explore. I’ve been to Venice before and I’d love to go again! The gondolas are crazy expensive but you can still have an amazing time just wondering around the architecture!!!

Ahh - seeing you in Italy is making me nostalgic for my own trip! I had the best time ever, and I'm definitely going back someday. The trains bring back so many memories! I had so much fun there, it was honestly one of the best travelling experiences of my life. I even started picking up Italian from the drama intensive we did! Everyone was so lovely, and it came at just the right time for me because I was on the verge of a breakdown in school, but Italy, marvellous Italy, brought me back. I hope you had a wonderful time there, Jade - Italy is unlike any other country! If you do go back, I would recommend visiting Bologna - it's absolutely beautiful and the history there is fascinating. ;)
