I taught English in a Dutch school... & went HOME! 😭 The Last Solo Interrail Vlog - The Netherlands

Here it is, guys. The LAST solo interrail adventure vlog. Here we are in Friesland in The Netherlands with my Dutch family for a jam packed few days of authentic Dutch experiences. From visiting 3 week old puppies, trying Friesian liqueur, seeing family and teaching English in a Dutch school, these few days were some of my favourites of the whole trip. I then got home to the beautiful land of the UK and saw my lil bro again (finally!). I hope you enjoy this rollercoaster final vlog - and that you've enjoyed this 3 week adventure in general. Sharing this chapter of my life has been an honour ✨ x

Probably public, in the netherlands you don't have a lot of private schools, allmost all the schools are public schools, you do have special education schools like Montessori schools, or "free" schools, but most of them are public as well.

Well, Friesland actually looks like most towns you can visit in Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, Gelderland, etc, etc... Randstad is just different from the rural areas, which take up the majority of the country

It’s funny because several years ago I did pretty much the same Interrail trip as you but on the opposite direction and with one friend. We did Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Pula (it’s in the coast of Croatia) and Venice. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I hope you liked it as much. Jade, I've just finished watching all your inter-railing vlogs and it reminded me so much when I went travelling across Europe 5 years ago! Staying in hostels, meeting incredible people, worrying if you're on the right train or not! ah seeing you explore Friesland reminds me of my trip this year to Slovakia!! i always visit regularly to see family over there but never actually explore it, but last month my mum’s cousin gave me a magical in depth tour of Bratislava (the capital city) where he grew up and my mum showed me around her home town properly for the first time. This is the earliest I have ever been when you uploaded one of these vlogs. I loved watching every single one, and it seems like you had a great time with your family. I was also kind of surprised to hear that your aunt and cousins were getting a Havanese dog (I didn't know they had those dogs in The Netherlands), and it's also funny because my family has a Havanese dog named Ollie. I didn't know anything about Friesland until I saw this vlog, so I feel kind of bad about that since I'm Dutch. But I loved seeing the vlogs and your experiences! Definitely enjoyed all of it.
