This film was shot over ten years and captures the talents of a whole generation of rock stars whose contemporary music has become today's classics. It follows bands such as the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix as they travelled from venue to venue and from hotel to hotel.

Saw him at the Shrine Auditorium in 1968. He scared the heck out of me. It was amazing. I think he was the first theatrical rock performer - ever. I could be wrong. I thought he was going to fly off the stage into the crowd. It amazed me.

I was at the Windsor Festival for the whole weekend and it was the biggest wake up call ever for 17 year old me. Arthur Brown was completely unlike anything I had ever seen before, as were most of the amazing acts I watched, Amongst others the Nice, Ten Years After and Fleetwood Mac convinced me that the pop charts were no longer worth listening to. Everything changed in a big way from that weekend on and I will be eternally grateful that my shabby Lambretta got me there and back 3 days in a row! I last saw Arthur Brown eighteen months ago and he is still unique. He is also a very approachable nice guy and happy to talk to fans after the gig.

That must have been amazing to see and hear. I love this band and anything from The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown is so rare, 67 is so rare. Did you see The Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett in 1967 as well? If so where, and what was the show like? I would do anything to got back in time, 66 and 67 England were the greatest period for original and interesting music IMOP. Another great band was Soft Machine. So little of that music was recorded live in 67, such a shame. You are lucky to have been there.
