Bonnie Steinke I remarked on Facebook that I can’t believe 1980 was - what??? - 40 years ago. Which always reminds me that the Space Needle and Seattle Center (World’s Fair) were built in the 60’s and I nearly swallowed my tongue when they celebrated their 50th and now it’s SIXTY years (I was an elementary kid back then). We are antiques! Lol And the stuff I see? They used it as everyday stuff. What??

@@lesliejohnson7247 My 26 year old daughter gets so excited over finding a collectible "vintage" piece of Pyrex and I tell her, "Sweetheart, that dish is sitting in my kitchen cabinet right now, it was a wedding gift (and used almost every day for 40 years)! I never would have thought my kitchen casseroles would be considered antiques and it does make me feel kind of old - but I refuse to be "vintage" too, LoL!

I won that Navajo piece, it was a biding war with a worthy opponent, I almost lost it many times. My hubby just retired after 20yrs from the USMC and his spirit animal is the knoblel eagles and mine is a big old protective Mama Bear and even when I feel like I am fighting "alone" (during many deployments and such) I knew I wasn't bc my husband is like the Eagle in the sky watching and protecting us from a far. I just knew I needed that piece whatever the cost and have always wanted to purchase something from you and this was that piece. It will have a place of honor in my house, the significant in that piece alone means the world to me. I am originally from PA, grew up in the Poconos but love and the Marine Corps makes me a proud resident of NC. Blessings to you and your beautiful family, you touch so many lives without even fully realizing it hunny. Thank you for opening up your life and letting us have a glimpse. Huge hugs from NC.

I'm watching this with subtitles. I'm telling ya, it's hilarious what words come up in place of what you actually say. I'm guessing the masks are hampering it a bit. Still, enjoying your shop anyhow. I hope it is Lorraine, where I'm searching. Lorraine operated in Montreal 1962-74. Chalet started in Montreal 1960 moved to Cornwall Ontario 1963 producing until 1981 when it sold to Rossi Artistic Glass Inc, Niagara Falls Ontario. So unless you have a date on the sticker or there is a catalogue of some sort with pictures, there is no way to tell if it's Lorraine or Chalet. Ahahaha, Limoges is captioned as 'the mosh'. So much fun. Compote is 'combo', I have to do this again. I do enjoy your videos without having to read captions but it was so funny today I let it go. I am learning so much. I hope you don't mind me putting up my search results. I am really getting into this. I'm in Australia in rural country so I'm not sure if I will ever come across anything like you do, but one lives in hope. Thanks
