A couple of other life hacks: buy meat on sale and put it in the freezer and set an amount that you won't exceed and use your calculator as you put each item in the basket so you don't go over budget.
@ashleyriley11795 ай бұрын
It seems like the boys are paying attention to what jared is trying to teach them but the girls don’t seem to really care much. And no I’m not trying to be rude either. These are very important life lessons you guys are trying to teach the kids and they have to learn them eventually. Also freezing meat keeps it fresh if you do it correctly plus it keeps the grocery costs down too.
@emilycools73955 ай бұрын
they will run out of milk before Friday so it's fine. they can get the beef later in the week. my family of of 9 does about 8-12 gallons per week. they bought like 6 to 8 maybe? I think they said they go through 1.5 to 2 per day. 🤷♀️
@veronicacover37765 ай бұрын
You can freeze the fresh meat instead of doing grocery shopping 3 times a week, you will use the double of the money

Raising a beef for meat has been a really big money saver for our family! I buy chicken on sale and freeze it or cook and freeze, depending on what I plan to make from it. Pork loins are cheap and easy to split up and make into lots of different meals!

As a truck driver, I can confirm that a lot of the cereal is made the exact same, the "store brands" are the same as the name brand. I pick up at a name brand company, and they make cereal for several different store brands. They allow us to take a box, and they taste exactly the same. It's the same for a lot of food.

Squash casserole is one of my favorites! 😋 I haven’t made it in a long time, but it hasn’t been 7 years. The smash tacos look good. Need to try those! Not going hungry is a must! I've had to cut down my budget, which is hard since prices in my country have increased by up to double the amount just like every other country. I shop at two supermarkets, a bakery and a fruit/vege shop. You really have to look at prices because some named brands could be on sale and work out to be cheaper. I shop once a month and half way through it needed I'll go back for fresh fruit and vegetables. I used to go every week I end up spending more. I have recently been trying more store brand products but when it comes to cereal I only eat cornflakes, weetbix and rice bubbles. I don't often have cereal, maybe once a week. I've tried cereal and isn't good so I will buy the more expensive brand when it's on special because I don't eat it often as I don't usually eat breakfast. I often get sick after eating or I'm in a lot of pain because I have severe crohns disease amongst other illnesses and have had many surgeries over the years and now at 46 I have just one metre out of about 7 metres left. Along with having autistic food traits eating is not an easy task.
@debbierudolph94895 ай бұрын
Another tip is to check the adverts for the stores in your area and go and buy all their specials. They are called loss leaders. They mark some products to get you to come into the store because they expect you to buy the rest of your full price groceries there. Also if something is on special bulk buy and stock up on that item.

So just to teach the kids some future respect and manners. Never say gross or disgusting. It’s so much nicer and less hurtful to say “it’s not for me”. Y’all can do or say whatever but it would be so hurtful if you spend all day cooking and someone says it looks gross. 🤮 When they are adults they’ll have that instance when “it’s not for me” will be an opportunity to be gracious and polite.

This kind of life hacks videos are great but I really do hope the teens are paying attention. Its good to never forget the kid in you as you grow older and please have fun guys but I do feel that both Addison and Aubrey act more like a child than even Anavaeh sometimes with their constant whining, arguing with each other and other siblings, not listening or want to help their parents etc. Shelly clearly said not to do it, yet Aubrey did it not caring about the consequences if it actually did explode.🤦🏻 Not to forget the "Addison is always last" statement tells me that she enjoys making others wait for her everytime and doesn't see it as a problem. Been watching the crazy channels for a few years now so I care enough to say what I said, no hard feelings here. Love the girls energy when its the right occasion and they can be funny at times. Sorry if any of you feel offended. This is just my opinion after all. I was not an angel either when I was a teen but basic manners or courtesy especially in view of others is something we care about a lot especially as the older ones we know we should set an example for our younger siblings and cousins.
@christinekillen38525 ай бұрын
really agree. Used to love Addison and Aubrey but lately they have been less respectful and helpful (at least in my opinion). And Aubrey deliberately disobeying Shelly and opening the thing, ... annoying. It never seems though that there are any consequences/admonishment for disobeying, which might be why Aubrey and Addison don't listen. The other kids for the most part are respectful. And the thing about Addison always making people wait, would love to see the family just leave without her so she gets that it's not cool or funny.

eggplants are called eggplants because the original plant vegetable was white & the size of a poultry egg. Over hundreds of years of selective cultivation the vegetable has grown in size & changed colors.
