Awesome video helped me out a lot. This def deserves tons more views One thing I would add is to defeat the beginning boss. He gives 3500 salt. Which would help towards the start.

this glitch is very good for NG+ because the amount of salt you can get from normal enemies except you got to use up your gold before doing this.

The crash when you dupe over 1 billion salt is because the salt counter is a 32-bit integer, and it breaks if you have more than 2147483648 salt.Idk what a 32-bit integer is tho.

a 32 bit digit is a number with 32 bits or binary places. technically the highest possible number with a 32 bit interger limit is (2^32)-1. so double your number minus one.

@@MrMan-np9jg I looked it up, and there are two types of integer apparently. Unsigned, which are 4 billion something, and Signed, that are 2147483648.

He dies in start to spawn bat with his current salt. Then he kills bat and logs out fast. If you log out fast for some reason the game is sort of confused and bat is not considered dead (similar to chest salt glitch). So he got his salt back but bat still there. If he does the same thing he will get only a static value of what the bat has. So instead on second step he kill the bat and dies. Now the bat has double the salt. So if you repeat these two steps the bat doubles salt every time.
