My mom and dad had a van just like that we had it done for handicap for both my parents and a nephew they where all in wheel chairs we had to take everything out of it I live with them and take good care of them tell they pasted away in 2007 &2010 & 2013 I would do all over again if I had to.

You know... I really should've brought this up before, but you may wish to consider installing a Fantastic Fan on top of your van. The fan will pull in fresh air or blow out the moist air, depending on the setting you choose...

You should put small fans by the windows that open so its sucking air from right outside at the windows. 1 at each open window. They have some good small fans that are battery power that push alot of air.

You may consider a pillow case/sleeve for the front windows. They are made out of a netted material. I made my own. You can buy them ready made. Keeps the bugs out and let’s the air in

The short bus is looking awesome down by the river ! Couple of suggestions: if you want a area rug for that foot traffic part of the van, check Lowes. They have rubber backed nice rugs in about that size. The slider windows are like whats in RV's, they really smooth out with some spray silicone lube in the tracks and latches.

we have that exact table :) if you had roof rails but then again you could use heavy duty suction cups or even heavy duty magnets with a hook...you could buy tarp poles and with a tarp..you would have an awning :)

I've seen where they installed a Max Air fan in the roof and it pulls a ton of air through the windows . I replaced the one in my bathroom and it definitely sucks the air from the windows , I did this just for that purpose for when I'd be boondocking and can run it off my solar !

I'm going to tell you how to keep Flys away from an area, especially your van. You need a clear plastic bag, like they put goldfish in. Put about 1/2 to 3/4 of water in it, seal it up, and devise a way to hang it above the double door opening or rear opening of your van! Don't ask me why but they won't come around! I think it's a large reflection of their image makes them look bigger! If you had a stand you could do it at your campground table too!

Also for your window slides there's different signs of silicone you can buy made for it. I also have tubes of carmax with me if you get a bad bite you put some on a Band-Aid and put it on there and it'll get you to sleep if it's itching bad.

Awesome as always, Mike! I just can't get over how comfy that bed looks, lol, and it was so simple to make. Dinner was very simple but looked scrumptious 😋 that is going in my camping 🏕 recipes. Hear me out. That little wall area opposite of the side doors where your cooler is, mount a tv swivel mount there and mount a 32” tv. Instal locking straps like rv’s (I own one) have that wrap over the center of the tv to hold in place while you travel. You have a larger tv, stationed, and way better to watch movies then a tiny iPad. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Awning idea. I have an ‘87 conversion van with high top and bought a long tarp to put over the top, using magnets on the further side and telescoping poles on the open side (that way rain won’t come in from the gap) maybe that would work for you? I’ve got the pop out windows on the back doors, but it still gets pretty warm, I don’t want to cut into the roof. LOVE YOUR videos, thanks for sharing.

3:35 you can make those little slider windows work better by just cleaning it’s grooves with a wet microfibers cloth and then just apply WD-40 on it, you’ll have a world of difference those little windows will slide like new again

I have seen some electric awnings for vans, it stays attached, then when you need it, you flip a switch or manually open it, and it comes with legs that you can put down on the ground for support. This way you don't have to keep attaching it all the time when you want to use it. It is already there, you just have to unfold it.

I don’t know why you don’t put a tarp up. Simply goes across the van and attach to ground on other side like a tent. You can spread it out so you can get a breeze. Just seen it in other vehicles camping. A thought. Glad you’re here cause I don’t like to miss you each week. Still catching up. Find new ones every day or so. Hey pick up one of those Magic Mesh magnetic door bug screens at Home Depot ...$15 for your side doors. They're awesome! I just put one on the rear barn doors on my micro van ...of course because my vans got curves everywhere, I had to tweak it. Yours looks to be relatively sqaure ...should be azey pazey!

Look up window louvers on LMC truck or those smoked plastic shields that go over the windows. We always called them smokers shields so you can crack the windows while it's raining. Great video man. I enjoy your adventures.

Harbor freight mesh all purpose weather resistant tarps. 8x10 25.00 bucks. Should be able to somehow clip on opposite side rain rail with cord. Couple cheap poles and guide rope anchors, all set. Magnets could possible work as well

Quady, for the window ventilation...... they make a netting that goes over the door frame all the way to the bottom of the window and allows the door to be closed, holding it in place. This allows the window to be operated up and down while the netting is in place. No bugs and plenty of ventilation. You may still be able to use some type of gutter at the top also.

Hey great video. I do a lot of car camping and I found a fan at auto zone made for cars that rotates. It has a plug that is a cigarette lighter plug. I plug it into my 300 watt power box and it will last me five days or more. It puts out a lot of air and I live in Florida. It also has a clip so you can clip it where ever you want. I love your new van. 😊
