US MRE Beef Stew is a legit nostalgia for me. I still think about that stew 25 years after I tried it. My cousin, may he rest in peace, brought some home when he was in the military. I was just a kid and I'm convinced that was the only beef stew I've ever genuinely liked. Also the tiny tobasco bottles, brings me back, and reminds me of him.

Beef Stew is the longest running MRE and the best. The sides are horrible but the main is great. The T ration is part of a whole meal main, sides, drinks and the accessory pack. You warm it up in hot water.
