Funny thing is I collect WW2 survival kits. What's cool is numerous items haven't changed. The compass and the machete are exactly as WW2. The dual sided hat is another item carried. The sunburn ointment was a tin that was foil wrapped.

That is a "Woodman's Pal" machete, multi-tool. Those things are priceless. Used one in the military and now around the camp. Were issued in the Pacific Theater of WWII. An original issue is pretty pricey.

the 2 flares are MK 13 day/night flares, the cap with the 3 bumps are so at night you can feel them and know that is for night use. This kit is an under seat over water kit
