I literally have the same issue. Maybe I'll try to source a set of broken headlights where the LED board is in working shape. I don't have extra LED boards laying around like you did.

Actually just had another idea it looks like that black plastic peice could fit a regular led bulb instead of a board powered by a driver. Any suggestions if this is an ok idea or not?

Keine gute Reparatur, man hätte die leds einfach tauschen können gegen gleiche . So hat man eine neue Platine auf eine andere geklebt was wieder ein wärme Widerstand ist. Die neue Platine wird in ein paar Monaten defekt sein wegen Überhitzung.

Нет, люминофор пожелтел, а с учётом того что трубка стала короче эффект желтизны усилиться. И самое главное, мастер показал нам запасной план.

@@arturk.8040 у меня один в один было на октавии а7, ничего там не желтеет и трубка короче на 4мм вышла, и ничего не произошло, светит белым

@@dmitriybelykh1140 и у меня в практике такое было, помыл, обрезал и собрал, но было и обратное, когда части оплавленной трубки мелкой пылью впаялись в люминофор и цвет стал отличаться. Так что в каждом конкретном случае свой результат.
