So useful, I had no idea what to do, follow what you did and now I'm printing for the very first time, thanks!

That's awesome! It really is not too bad once you know what to do. What are you printing? Any other problems yet? My SE has been printing so good for months - no problems. But if you have any issues, let me know and we can find an answer for you.

Just got my V3 SE today so I'm just watching vids while its been printing all day lol. I've been wanting a 3D printer for years and this was an impulse purchase, ebay was running a sitewide 20% coupon on all kinds of chinese consumer electronics including most of creality's official ebay store. So I got my SE for $160. Realistically I should have just gotten the KE but oh well. I'll slowly upgrade this one. I've been printing mods all day. Relocating the spool holder to the side, a filament guide etc. I mean I can't even get mad. I got basically a plug and play printer with auto leveling for $160

yeah that's a great price. I bought a filament runout sensor for mine....i like that. It's crazy how affordable it is now to get into 3d printing. Thanks for telling me, that is awesome.

it's been a very good little printer I have no complaints. I do really like the KE because of the filament runout sensor - i'm not good at paying attention to the small rolls as they run out so it's nice to have that automatically stop for me. A few other advantages also - the KE is MUCH faster. But this SE has been solid, working away all the time.

Hi there thank you for sharing. Completely new to 3d printing I am trying to learn. I am a jeweller and I want to be able to 3d print rings bangles etc for casting in metal later. Can I create my own pieces or do I have to always go online and search for 3d print files that will work ? Sorry if sounds dumb but I gotta know and learn. Thank you so much
@kevin.3D4 ай бұрын
@@kirtandrews1859 search online for tinkercad...it is a free online 3d design software that you can use to create your own designs. It's very beginner friendly. Have you considered resin printing for making your moulds? It is something you may want to look at since the detail in the finished print is much better.

@kevin.3D Thank you so much . I shall google tinkercad now. I just need to get a foot in the door. Yes I've looked at resin but so much more money I just can't afford. Thank you anyhow

honestly, running into the other room to get the SD card and put files on it is getting old fast. Yep, this week is the big upgrade week I think. Good idea, thanks Gary!

Can you use a micro stl card in this machine?
@kevin.3D2 күн бұрын
it uses the full size SD card - so a tf card will work if it is in the adapter card that you likely got with it. I have more of those adapter cards around my desk than I have SD cards!

@@kevin.3D Hot. It was in the seventies yesterday. Last week and over the weekend Mount Lemon had over 36 inches of snow. It's funny we can have all the seasons in one day here 🤣🤣🤣 I'm getting ready for my artisans market it's already tomorrow. Going to go pick up my banner and my fiance is making my business cards today. He is a amazing man.❤️

i know it doesnt have wifi but does it have a manual connection? like can i just usb plug it into my computer?
@kevin.3D7 ай бұрын
no, the only way to get files onto this printer is on a SD card. There are options to add wifi using the nebula pad or the sonic pad so it's not impossible but those are extra costs. If you want to use wifi it's easier to upgrade to the KE model. It runs Klipper, can use wifi, is faster, and has a filament runout sensor. It is only about $80 more than the SE so I think it's worth it.

okay, I'm happy with that. It's only 8 years ago so in the grand scheme of things....not bad (unless you are only 12 years old, then I guess 8 years is a long time) :)
