+Amanda Ensing I love your vids, but considering the fact that contouring is supposed to look like a natural shadow, I'd definitely say that your contour shade was very warm, since you're paler right now. I'd highly suggest the becca lowlight sculpting perfecter -- it's literally the perfect cool, ashy shade. Even the laura mercier cream contour palette you talked about awhile back is better than this.

Hey! I love your vids but I hope you don't mind some constructive criticism. I think your contour color is too warm. Since you're a bit more pale, something more ashy toned would look better. Those of us with darker skin would look more natural with warmer looks. Also, I love the background but your lights are too bright, I think :/ It's blowing you out and I can't really observe the details of what you're doing. I found myself squinting trying to figure out the placement of things, especially the lighter colors. Hope you take this the right way. Thanks for the video!

I was just saying since it's a tutorial based on technique and color theory rather than just a how-to for a look, sometimes its better to have those rules?
