My SR20DET has so many random mysterious issues and 9/10 times it's something stupid. We go over the car since I last abused it and change out my turbo for something VERY exciting :)

my radiator cap fell off the one time.. couldnt find it anywhere.. so got a new one and drove home.. many months later i found it at the bottom of the motor... dont know how it stayed there but it did! thankful i could keep my original e30 cap! Worth more then my radiator itself.

Speed sensor from turbo you can hook up to stand alone and create perfect antilag. The idea behind is to spray little n2o shot at low rpm of to quicken up spool. Its a lot safer than conventional antilag and can by actually used in drifting.

Alan_JDM_Gutierrez yeah his is, but he recently got nicole the G-Corp wing. I liked it for the same reasons he explains. I hate type x cuz its no wide enough, but 326 is too aggressive for a street car, the g-corp is just a wider type x wing and matches the width of the body

I always like cheap deals on old or bad pistons. I like to make ash trays out of them, and rocker arms cause I combine the two to make an ash tray and use rocker arms for a cigar holder.

Check if the oil return line from the turbo is clean! And just to let you know: the heat spins your turbo! Some Knobheads still think it is only the gas outlet... but as hotter the gas is that leaves the combustion chamber as bigger is the volume of it. Conclusion: no heat no high rpm spinning of the turbo. That equals no big boost... sad but true.

FYI the end of the GKTech bar is threaded (I think standard 6x1.0 like a 10mm head bolt) so you can run a big washer and bolt on the end to keep the arms from coming off. Just a suggestion. Haven’t had any issues with mine but an idea you could use as backup. Also, side note, I just finished tuning my SR with a gen 2 GTX2867r for reference and made 465/415 at 30ish psi. I’m sure the G series will do more. That’s also with the smaller .64 a/r housing. So mine could make more I’m sure but just thought I’d through it out there for reference. The newer turbos are just so amazing. I also just got my VQ coils in last week and will be probably converting before Gainesville on the 1st. Are you running Gainesville by chance? Should be another fun event

Use gain fabric softener in your coolant unless u drive you car in the cold then use regular coolant. But any race car I only use fabric softener helps keep motor cool and don't soap up plus keep coolant cooler

Pressure test it for like 5hrs and see if you can find any leaks. We have to do that on the focus RS to check the head gasket

Regarding axle bolts; drill the heads and lockwire them. Infact, crossdrill and lockwire all the problem bolts that are always coming loose!

Doesn't a more efficient turbo mean it can push more boost with the same rpm?. (These numbers are completely hypothetical) 10 000rpm=10psi on old turbo but on new 20% more efficient turbo 10 000rpm=12psi

Adam put this on mind pressure test your car when it is running and warm so if there is any Metal expand will not show when the car is cold. I had this problem with my car it made me lose the engine.
