Marty I'm looking at getting a new guitar here soon. I'm getting a decent chunk of money and it's unlikely I'll be able to get another expensive guitar guitar for several years. I have always wanted a Les Paul, but I played at 335 that I absolutely adore. also found one Les Paul out of dozens that I absolutely adore. they're at different stores so it's hard for me to guage which one I like better. I figure, while I have the money, I could get the 335 and then the less Paul is cheaper so just trade down. I want new. Only problem is that the only Les Paul I've been able to find in over a year that I like, finish, feel and tone. But, Idk if I'd ever be able to trade up. I also have a hurt back, but don't think the weight will be an issue, I don't play on stage, or anything. I have always wanted a Les Paul, since childhood and they both have their own tone, the 335 the little awkward feeling it doesn't look as cool. So many things to consider. Which would you choose?
