For those millenials out there. This is called music. Great music. These 3 gentlemen actually sing the music they have written and arranged and actually play musical instruments. Intsturments they picked up as children and honed their crafts. There are no synthesizers, electonic drum beats or fake bass pounding. These are musicians. It's rock and roll. It's based in blues....the best way to rock. It warms my heart dearly to see so many young people in the audience enjoying this great reunion concert, playing music written over 40 years ago. Watching this as a professional musician, makes chills run up my spine. To have the confidence and raw talent, as to get on stage with only your voice , one 6 string , a bass and a trap set !!!! And today I will play this song quite few times in remembrance Rest in Peace Pete Brown, your songs made a difference to a lot of folk. Always, let the sunshine of love beam up to you Pete! In the white room with black curtains near the station Black roof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes Dawn light smiles on you leaving, my contentment I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves You said no strings could secure you at the station Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows I walked into such a sad time at the station As I walked out, felt my own need just beginning I'll wait in the queue when the trains come back Lie with you where the shadows run from themselves At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd Consolation for the old wound now forgotten Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings I'll sleep in this place with the lonely crowd Lie in the dark where the shadows run from themselves

If I could only travel back in time. This would one of the moments I would travel back to (or maybe the late sixties, probably even better).

My very first album growing up. Hell of a band, timeless sound; great music from the 60s and still great even today!! Alot of music today cannot touch what was created by the bands like Cream. Turn up the volume, way up! RIP Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce.

My favorite thing about this video was the huge smile from Ginger right at the end of the song, didn't see that one coming. Rock In Peace Jack and Ginger!

Clapton has perfect command of the distortion. Amazing group of musicians and were fortunate to be able to see them perform despite not being there.

I wish they were showing more of Jack during Clapton's solo. Eric has played similar solos a thousand times but that bassline by Jack Bruce is just out of this world.

Absolute perfection. It is truly amazing to have, arguably, the three most talented musicians of all time on stage, together, nearly 40 years after they first recorded this masterpiece.
