My grandma lived in Comrie Perthshire and she always got this in for us in the 70's/80's when we came for holiday visits from England where this wasn't sold.i used to love the cola, raspberry and lemon flavours and I've now recently bought 4 different flavours whilst in Crieff and it taste just how I remembered it.👍🏻

I saw Creamola Foam pop up on FB and I was so tempted! I used to love this stuff as a kid. I think strawberry was the one I liked. I rarely had it though. It was a special treat.

I remember it! MY MUN GAVE ME A BOWL OF THE POWDER WI EITHER SLICED APPLES OR RHUBARB STICKS TO DIP IN IT, I PRESUME SHE THOUGHT IT WAS MORE HEALTHY THAN SUGAR, I ALSO LIKED IT TO DRINK. PINK IS ONLY FLAVOUR I REMEMBER SO PROBABLY STRAWBERRY OR RASPBERRY XX

I used to drink it in the 50's and I loved it. I remember the orange and raspberry. My brother found that it was back. I ordered orange, raspberry and irn bru a couple of weeks ago. I live in Australia and waiting for my package to arrive. I tried the other brand when I went back home for a holiday. It was nothing like it. I am so excited after seeing your review. 😊

I will definitely try this, I loved the stuff back in the 80s. Don’t worry about E numbers, every ingredient is assigned one, even vitamins have E numbers. I think that there are only 5 that you have to worry about and that’s only if you have kids with adhd!

You're right about putting the powder straight in your mouth. I used to do that too and it was amazing - it would fizz on your tongue so you got that sensation as well as the taste bursting out. :)

Vaguely remember constantly smashing tons of the orange stuff of this as a kid. You know we are definitely Scottish when we look on the back of a tin, see loads of dodgy drug numbers and think "yes, amazing".

Ralfy, the guy I watch for Scotch whisky reviews was just talking about this and he reviewed the Orange flavor. KZbin was able to figure out that I might be interested in Creamola Foam and suggested your video to me. Sounds interesting but we've never had anything like that here in the States.

I think it only came out in the US as its made in Scotland but you can purchase it online.

I have a similar childhood memory of strawberry nesquik milkshake powder but they obviously still make that but, as you point out with less of the good stuff in! I remember a lovely cream soda I got as a kid but I haven't tasted a good one of them for years

@@wayneguy8351 Nope. We had cherryaid. Until I was 18yo I never tasted a real cherry (we were poor) so I was quite disappointed they didn’t taste really sweet and fizzy. On Friday evenings a chip van called on the estate where I lived. If I was lucky I’d get a battered sausage, chips and beans. And a can of tango. Which in the 1970s was BRIGHT ORANGE and loaded with sugar.

I used to add the powder first then stir it fast as f*ck while blasting in water straight from the tap for maximum foaminess!
