I prepared this recipe and it is a winner 🥇 I will definitely keep this one. One thing I learned when making Mac n cheese is to always make sure there is enough liquid b4 putting it in the oven. So yes, I used a lot more milk and half n half ❤❤😊

I am going to try your recipe out. I love me some Mac & Cheese. I'm going to give it a slight twist though and cook it in my Kamado style smoker/grill using apple wood chunks to impart a light smokiness flavor to it.

That’s a lot of shredded Gouda. Just a very small wedge of gouda in stores is very expensive.

I love to cook and am actually an amazing cook . Self taught but have never tried Macaroni and cheese. Probably because I was single until 20 years ago. ( I am 61 now) Met the man of my dreams and he loves my cooking. BUT...was for the longest time forbidden to make any casseroles which included Macaroni and cheese. I tried "winging it " once and that went of like a lead balloon. We've been chatting about this and WE ( yes he agreed) to make some REAL Mac and cheese. Been searching for a recipe with the best flavor profiles to our tatses and think you nailed it. SO, we are going to try this over the weekend and see how WE do :) Very excited ! Thanks in advance, I KNOW it will be great !

I know that macroni taste good cause that's how I do mines. I always add hot sauce in to the cheese sauce it gives it a little kick
