3 bananas.
Butter (40 g / 2 tbsp).
Lemon juice (1 tbsp).
Add turmeric for color (optional 1/3 tsp).
Egg yolks (2 pcs.).
Cornstarch (25g / 2 tablespoons without foil).
Milk (200 ml / 4/5 cups).
Chilled cream 33-38% (250 ml/1 cup)

Strawberry (200g/7oz)
1 egg yolk.
Sugar (80g/1/3 cup).
Cornstarch (25g/2 level tablespoons).
Chilled cream 33% (200ml/4/5 cup).

The neat thing about bananas is that their stem doubles as a handy opening device. Never in my life have I used a knife to peel a banana.

Fun fact: the stem is actually the worst way to peel a banana. Use the other end! You just pinch it and "pop" it comes right open. If you don't believe this is the superior way to peel a banana, watch any monkey. It's how they do it. And once you try it and realize how much easier it is than using the stem, you'll laugh at ever trying to use the stem again.

I made a mistake with the milk 🥛 because the recipe says 4 to 5 cups of milk and then 200 ml that it is nothing similar to 4-5 cups. I added more starch 😢

Delicious. I make mine by simply squishing the bananas carefully while they’re still intact in their skins, open them up and splat them into the cream before mixing. Voilà! No need to fry in butter or add corn starch.

It's very unhealthy with that heavy cream and butter. The recipe says two tablespoons of butter but if you look at the video, it's at least a half a stick of butter.

Made this today. Not bad for a sugar free treat! I used it as a cupcake frosting! Next time I make this I'll omit the turmeric. It over powered the banana flavor and the yellow tiny was a little off putting. I did add a little cinnamon to it. Yum!

It may not be a 5 minute recipe, but I will definitely make both the banana one and the strawberry recipe. The banana one appears to be good for diabetics. I love to bake and make all sorts of interesting desserts. These do not require any baking and , now for the summer would be perfect.
