Creamy Garlic Mushroom Pasta

RECIPE: anitacooks.com... Hi Guys, today I'll show you How to Make Creamy Garlic Mushroom Pasta. This is an easy weeknight dinner that you can make in under 30 minutes. Ingredients:
4 tbsp Vegetable Oil
12oz/340g baby bella mushrooms or another variety
1.5 tbsp minced garlic 3 cloves of garlic
2 1/2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
16oz/500ml/2 cups Whole Milk
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves optional
1/4 cup grated parmesan optional
chopped parsley for garnish, optional
8oz/225g fettuccine or other pasta

I just tried this recipe but instead of portobello mushrooms, flour and butter. I used cooking cream and enoki mushrooms. the result was really really good!! definitely worth trying this recipe.

I think that's the traditional way. I was surprised to see her using a roux but I bet it tastes great even with that base. But, cream and pecorino is the way I do it.

I've made this twice now. The first time was exactly like the video and it was a very tasty recipe. Second time I made it, I added a table spoon of chopped olives and a half tablespoon of capers. They were a nice little extra 😁. Thank you for taking the time to teach us this recipe. I will be making it regularly from now on. 😄

Just made it but with double cream instead of butter and flour. Delishious. And added 50 grams of pancetta. Fried the bacon first then added mushrooms. Served with a side of rice instead

I saw this yesterday and came back to comment... it turned out so good. Cooking mushrooms before and using same pan to make sauce worked for me. I used cream instead of milk and I had to add pasta water to thin it out but the taste was amazing. My guests were raving about it... thank you for this lovely recipe.. also the garlic was not overpowering and Ben though I added handful. Lovely flavors 😍
