I work at Chuy's, and there is no sour cream or lime in the creamy jalapeño. And we ABSOLUTELY use powdered ranch dip mix!

What do they use to thickening the dip?

I went to Chuy's yesterday, had to bug the waitress more, more, and another dip. The variation in the salsa and the jalapeño dip can be drastic, and toooo spicy or salty more often than not. So, I thought today to look on KZbin! I have watched halfdozen versions, yours was different mainly in no buttermilk. I am going to go buy the ingredients do a taste test.

@@apinchofhealthy I have made it twice, 1 gallon. My wife requested I make it again today, and she is an ultra finicky eater. The only thing I find distressing, is the fluidity is too high. I watched some video's on how to thicken a sauce using butter, corn meal, flour, etc, but I was wondering if you have any suggestion to thicken up the consistency?
