Enjoy our Fresh Tomato Creamy Pasta, featuring ripe tomatoes blended into a smooth, garlicky cream sauce, topped with fresh basil and Parmesan. Perfect for a quick, cozy dinner, this dish brings the taste of Italy to your table.
Ingredients per two people :
• Onions 1 big
• Penne 2 cups
• Basil 1 handful
• Olive Oil 1/2 cup
• Butter 100 gr. / 3.5 oz.
• Garlic 2-3 Cloves
• Tomato paste 2 tbsp.
• Crushed Tomato 1 cup
• Milk 2 cups
• Parmesan (the more the better) 100 gr. Or more
• Cheddar cheese (optional) 2 slices
• Nutmeg powder 2 pinches
• Black pepper as needed
• Paprika 1 tea spoon
• Salt
Pre-cook the penne until it's al dente, so it will soak up the sauce perfectly.
Chop the onions and basil finely.
In a pan, add oil and butter then fry the onions till they are golden.
Now it's time for crushed garlics, then add the tomato paste and after it's cooked a little, add the crushed tomatoes. Add another butter cube, then top with basils and some black pepper.
Now pour in the milk, then throw in the cheddar cheese. Top with good amount of parmesan.
Stir the sauce well till it thickens.
Now throw in the beautiful al dente penne. Add salt, black pepper, paprika and nutmeg powder.
Again, More parmesan on top! because why not?!
Serve in a dish, add more parmesan (parmesan for liiife) and top with a basil.
