Ty for sharing your guys work and your dads. The coolest thing is your kids will have this information the rest of their lives. Good on you for making this. When my brothers and l were kids our dad made a Goblin dinghy for the family. Single sail, rowed a dream, smaller than the Mirror and gave us many hours of pleasure. Wishing you loads of fun with your boat.

I thought it was odd they knew how to fold a sail (at least that's what it looked like from the brief clip), but didn't know to add a dagger board.

There is a dagger board case clearly visible.

@flyingfiddler90q sure, that could be what that slat is for, but no hole in the bottom of the boat. They would also need to make a sleave to keep the hull of the boat from filling with water, which i didn't see as they encased the hull. Maybe they will put one in during the next video?

@@flyingfiddler90q going back to look again I do see what appears to be a rather narrow through-slot forward of the beam centerline, which could be for the dagger board, but it wouldn't be much of one.
