Or people correct errors off camera. One minute something looking a bit off... next minute it looks perfect... no explanation or even acknowledgement of it.

@@nicnac4257 yes. Suzie is a good teacher. She acknowledges mistakes and corrects them on camera, this is a great way to learn (you never know when you might make that mistake yourself)

@@aesinam its also reassuring that experts have "glitches" as well... makes us learners feel a little better when we don't get it right all the time.

I had been thinking of switching career courses for a while (I was in school to be a teacher. I thought I would love it, but it wasn’t for me), and Suzie is the one who inspired me to become a nail tech. I’ve always loved nails, but I decided to follow a path I though everyone else wanted me to follow. She inspired me to follow my heart and do what I love instead!

I'm sitting here, mind blown, bc when I decided to get BOLD & try a 3-D French accent nail on myself for New Year's, I somehow instinctively used this same color scheme AND TECHNIQUE. Maybe it was my ingrained impatience, logic or whatever, but it just didn't make sense to keep wasting time waiting for the clear layers to set, PLUS all that in between filing. Turned out fabulously on my first try! Thanks Suzy! Now I don't feel CRAZY for doing 3-D French nails this way, even though I'm just a DIYer.🙏🏽

This type of design has always looked fascinating, and been really cool to watch people create. I love this glitter color version of it, and despite me not being a nail technician nor hobbyist I still find a lot of these acrylic videos educational as a lot of problem solving thinking is transferable to other art media. I would be lying if I claimed your videos haven't gotten me seriously interested in going beyond plain nail polish and stamping with my stubby stubs some day in the future though :-D

These nails turned out really stunning😍 great job on the smilelines👏 The only downside by not "painting" on the colord acrylic really thin around the sharp smileline is that you loose a lot of the 3D effect that the clear acrylic is supposed to bring into this design. But I really love the look that you made here😘 Tfs sweetie 💕💕

You should try it with poly gel. Use acrylic for the extended nail bed in whatever neutral color then use gel polish for the color and clear poly gel to cap each color layer. You’ll get so much more dimension that way. I’d love to see you do that one.

I do nails as a hobby. So I don’t charge my friends because it’s my outlet from event planning. I hope to get my license one day so I can change careers. Anyway, I use white butcher paper I buy in bulk and I also use a tile under my paper towels. I like the paper because when I’m done I just trash it and recycle it. Less washing. Try it.

Kirsty Meakin (Naio Nails) has been doing 3D French nails for a few months. You ladies both explain the process in great detail. Love the glittery acrylic too, even if it's more of an accent to the true structure of the nail (which is why you both encapsulate in clear). This style is so gorgeous.

You could make the glitter brush white with blue beads or blue glitter so there is a difference. I painted the brush handles on my gel brushes. Just a thought.

A great video, as always! Beautiful! I got your kit too and I have to say a few things :) I own 19 acrylic brushes, one fancier than other, and I've never been happier with any of them until I got yours. The reason being that your brush's hair is only as long as it needs to accurately shape the acrylic. The other ones have too long of bristles and when trying to mold the acrylic, they bend too much and so the pressure is way lower. Thus I end up having to file more. So, thank you for that! :) About your files... Man, they are so strong. I usually get my files grits flat after 2-3 sets, but this ones they're still like new after way more than that. They clean really well and easy and they still look and function like new! So, thank you for that, too! :) Maybe in the future we'll see more helpful products! Love you, Susie, and love your work! 🤗😘❤😘🤗
