Create 3D Text in Maya 2019

Hi Creators,
Have you ever wanted to create 3D Text in Maya? Well, you can! In this tutorial we go over how to create type in 3D, manipulate it to get the look we want, animate the text and so much more. Lighting, texturing and rendering is also reviewed!

me: failes on the first tep becasue hte "type" menu point is not clickable xD gawd damn it Solution since i doubt im the only one taht will have this problem (open pluginmanager under Window/Preferences/plug-ins > search for type and load it) yatta it now works

Thanks. That´s why I hate Maya - I made the mistake of looking for a "create text" option, like in any other program. ;) Due to these weird naming conventions I have to look up basic, but rarely used functions again and again, even after I´ve been using Maya for many, many years. This sucks.
