I was totally not expecting the 3D rendering to achieve that good look… maybe not full fledged renderers but quite acceptable! If Apple added what VideoCopilot’s Element3D did at their time: proper shadow-mapped/raytracing for casting shadows, SSAO, SSGI, SSS, etc it would be quite an interesting work ground.

I agree! I was actually quite shocked that the rendering turned out as good as it did. Typically I’d just do this in Blender, but turns out Motion has a decent renderer built in. Would LOVE all those features to be added. Especially since new phone chips have raytracing, I know they’ll be in Mac’s next.
